Our children gain hours through after school clubs that contribute to an award from Children’s University. The children have to gain a minimum of 30 hours for a bronze certificate, 65 for silver certificate and 100 hours for a gold certificate. We promote after school learning to encourage the children with their social and emotional skills by meeting with children from other year groups with whom they may not associate with in the school day. The clubs are organised to be fun as well as a learning environment. Children choose the clubs that they like to attend and they are usually done on a four week basis every half term, each hour they attend they will gain one credit that is banked year on year from Year 2 to Year 6.
