I have lived in Armthorpe all of my life and both of my children have been pupils of Shaw Wood, with my son currently in reception and my daughter now in College, after leaving for secondary school in 2016.
I work as a data and admin manager for a local training provider and previously enjoyed a long career in social care, before leaving due to ill health. The skills and knowledge I have acquired in these roles will support me in the varied role of parent governor, working towards making Shaw Wood Academy the best school in the local area.
